VETTING / CRITERIA FOR MEMBERSHIP

To become a member of RWISA, an author’s platform has to be well-written in as many areas as possible, especially indicated by published works.  Here are the areas our TEAM of Vetters will be looking at:

*The author’s books

*The author’s blurbs for their books

*The author’s blogs or websites

*The author’s Amazon bio

Our TEAM of Vetters will not use book reviews as a part of this process,  as there are just too many who give dishonest reviews freely, whether because of family member status or a review swap in like kind.  RWISA is the place for only well-written works and the talented authors who produce them.  Our eyes will tell us all we need to know.  When you are a truly good/great writer, your mouth need not say a word, as your written work will speak loudly and volumes!

Your work cannot read like run-on sentences without properly placed punctuation, nor can your thoughts be “all over the place.”  The work of RWISA authors should always ensure smooth and easy (not a struggle to read), cohesive and enjoyable reading. 

(We do overlook minor hiccups if the majority of the written work is good, as we understand that being human means almost perfect in some areas, and is as close to the real thing as we might get.)
