Yecheilyah (e-SEE-li-yah, affectionately nicknamed EC) grew up on the South Side of Chicago IL, where her favorite activity was reading books and writing poetry in her notebooks and journals. She enjoys laughing, movie nights, good conversation, coffee, and when she’s watching her shows on Netflix, she likes to do so with a glass of wine. She seeks to provoke thought among the limited ways we think and feel and to inspire others the same as others have inspired her. Yecheilyah’s motto is to “Paint poetic justice against the backdrop of heavy keystrokes.” To paint poetic justice means to use her writing as an underground railroad to spiritual and mental freedom. If people can’t be liberated in their own lives, she hopes her books can provide a road-map. This isn’t easy to do considering the heavy misinformation, deception, and religious ideologies that have enslaved us for so long. These are the heavy keystrokes.
