Welcome to the 2019 #RWISA “RISE-UP” TOUR! #RRBC #RRBC_Community

Welcome to our 1st RWISA “RISE-UP” TOUR!

Because of the current state of our nation where newborn babies are being left in trashcans, the elderly and mentally ill are homeless and little children go to bed hungry each night, we wanted to know WHAT WOULD YOU DO…? so, we decided to take our RWISA members on tour to share their thoughts on this very important subject.

For 14 days we invite you here to the RWISA site to enjoy, engage and to become enlightened – awakened even to the many plights of our communities and to the many ways you can also RISE UP and MAKE A CHANGE!

LYRICS

You’re broken down and tired
Of living life on a merry go round
And you can’t find the fighter
But I see it in you so we gonna walk it out
And move mountains
We gonna walk it out
And move mountains
And I’ll rise up
I’ll rise like the day
I’ll rise up
I’ll rise unafraid
I’ll rise up
And I’ll do it a thousand times again
And I’ll rise up
High like the waves
I’ll rise up
In spite of the ache
I’ll rise up
And I’ll do it a thousand times again
For you
For you
For you
For you
When the silence isn’t quiet
And it feels like it’s getting hard to breathe
And I know you feel like dying
But I promise we’ll take the world to its feet
And move mountains
We’ll take it to its feet
And move mountains
And I’ll rise up
I’ll rise like the day
I’ll rise up
I’ll rise unafraid
I’ll rise up
And…

Many of our authors have focused on homelessness, and I saw this article, so I thought I would share at least one person’s good deed. 🙂 https://mypositiveoutlooks.com/bon-jovi-donates-money-to-help-homeless-veterans/

I had no idea this had started! I’m so grateful I saw someone’s tweet about it so that I can follow and promote. I’m loving it so far! I can’t wait to see what else is in store for us. 🙂

    • Jan, notice in the video how she gets up to lovingly care for her husband/boyfriend/significant other…without complaint. And, did I mention how she did it so lovingly?

I love that song – I love the message in the video and it does set the tone for this adventure we’re on.

      Thanks, Jan!

      • Oh, Nonnie, it brought me to tears. Not just misty eyes, but sobbing tears. I remembered all the times I pushed Rick in his wheelchair, folded it up and lifted it into the back of the car when I didn’t think I had the strength to do it one more time. But, I would do it ALL again if only I could.

I have loved this song since the first time I heard it. The voice is just majestic. I love it even more now that I’ve seen the video. Thanks for choosing this song/video for our tour, Nonnie! 🙂
