THE RWISA PLEDGE

As a member of RAVE WRITERS – INTERNATIONAL SOCIETY OF AUTHORS (RWISA), I pledge to always uphold the standards set forth in the areas of professionalism, my dedication and commitment to written excellence in the craft of writing, and my clear desire to always continually publish, in any written arena, the best, most polished work ever.

I will remain consistent in my writing, in the areas of my author platform which were vetted, and which allowed me passage to add my name to the list of other ELITE RWISA members.

I will strive to serve my fellow members, via displays of my character, my behavior and my written works, to enhance the environment of the RWISA community.

I will not hesitate to ask for assistance, professional or personal, when and if needed, to ensure that all who visit any area of my author platform and lay eyes upon my RWISA Membership badge, will clearly know that it stands for only EXCELLENCE IN WRITING.

I will accept sincere and helpful critiques of my writing in areas which my RWISA peers feel are in need of a bit of overhaul.

I will correct, repair and/or re-write any piece of written work which sits on the RWISA site, which our Vetting Panel feels is not indicative of RWISA standards.  I also understand that should I submit any piece of written work to be published to the RWISA site, which is not indicative of RWISA standards, it may be returned to me for editing and/or edited to the extent that it is made acceptable to meet RWISA standards.

I pledge to never tire of working to hone my craft of writing, to ensure that I forever embody the spirit and drive that it takes to be counted among the few, the ELITE, the very proud…RWISA community of Authors!

I understand that there is a possibility that I was accepted into RWISA, not because my writing was (perfect), but because of my clear desire to enhance the layout of the literary publishing field, by publishing work that was professionally proofed and edited.  In doing so, I am declining to add to the mounds of rubbish already littering the literary horizon.  My acceptance could also mean that the portions of my Author Platform which were vetted, were acceptable to RWISA standards at that time.

Understanding that President & Author, Nonnie Jules has very strict and high standards in writing, and also understanding that my acceptance was based on receiving 4 out of 7 votes from the Vetting Panel, I am aware that my work may not have been selected, endorsed or approved by her.

I understand that if my writing has received a 4 or 5 star rating from President & Author, Nonnie Jules, and is profiled on NONNIE’S “RAVE” REVIEWS page, that my titles listed, have received her SEAL OF APPROVAL and are suggested reads.

I understand that should I wish to cancel my membership in the RWISA organization, it will have no bearing on my membership within RRBC.

I understand that should I fail to uphold any portion of the RWISA pledge, my membership into RWISA may be revoked at any time.
